Dairyland Sports is dedicated to empowering adaptive athletes across Wisconsin and the Midwest by advocating for inclusion, providing educational resources, and offering comprehensive support for athletic development and opportunities.
Advocate
We strive to advocate for the recognition and inclusion of all adaptive athletes in Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest. We work at the local, national, and international level to promote and support adaptive athletes in the pursuit of their individual fitness and athletic goals.
Educate
We work to provide educational opportunities to adaptive athletes, families, health professionals, and community members to highlight the value of adaptive sports in the health and well-being of individuals with diverse abilities.
Support
We aim to be your “one-stop-shop” for resources and access to adaptive sports opportunities in Wisconsin. We support local and national adaptive sports clubs, teams, and events to provide adaptive athletes with the best opportunities to learn, train, and compete.

Beyond her professional role, Deb is a proud mom and grandma who enjoys designing and remodeling homes and running a Wisconsin northwoods resort. Deb resides in the Madison area with her husband and family, and enjoys time spent outdoors and traveling.

She and her husband, Brad, founded an independent life insurance agency in 2020, though is now retired from the life insurance industry. When not volunteering, she can usually be found waiting for her three adult children to reply to her texts and performing improv comedy in the Madison area.
During that time, Kali served as a Wilderness Course Director with the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center, where she planned and led inclusive outdoor experiences for individuals who have diverse abilities. In this role, she incorporated adaptive equipment into programming and therapeutic interventions, including ropes courses, rock climbing, rafting, canoeing, cycling, and skiing.
Kali has also worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, and as a Special Education Teacher for students who have significant support needs. She recently returned to the Madison area and is currently an elementary Special Education Teacher in Waunakee.
Kali is excited to serve as Secretary for Dairyland Sports and to continue supporting the adaptive sports community. She is deeply passionate about empowering individuals of all abilities and fostering inclusive environments across all settings.

Outside of her professional and volunteer work, Mary enjoys creative pursuits such as watercolor painting, crocheting, and quilting, and values spending time outdoors on walks with her Bernedoodle.

In addition to her clinical work, Jenna is a National Medical Classifier for para swimming, which aligns with her values and goals to support opportunities for access to competition for adaptive athletes. Most importantly, she remains passionate about making sure everyone, regardless of ability or experience, has the chance to be active and experience the benefits of sport.

An enthusiastic and driven advocate for inclusive athletics, Mykenzie serves as the Programming Assistant for Dairyland Sports, joining the team in 2023. She additionally remains involved in coaching and supporting a variety of adaptive sports programs and camps, including Miracle League, Camp Abilities, and Special Olympics.
In addition to programming support, Mykenzie plays a key role in managing Dairyland Sports’ social media presence, helping share the impact and stories of the community. Always eager to grow, Mykenzie continuously seeks to learn from the experiences adaptive sports provide, both on and off the field.
Jeffrey has a deep passion for tennis, enjoying the sport both on and off the court—whether playing, watching, or attending adaptive tennis tournaments. Outside of his professional and athletic interests, he values spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, and experiencing movies on the big screen.

Beyond competition, Jay is a dedicated disability advocate with a particular focus on conditions that have historically been excluded from para sports. Their work centers on expanding access, visibility, and equity within adaptive athletics.
Currently a student at Carleton College, they are pursuing a prospective double major in biology and studio art, blending scientific curiosity with creative expression. Outside the classroom and competition, they enjoy spending time with their dog and training for their next wheelchair race.
